Athens Sightseeing tour gives an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city.
Short stop to the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896.
Driving along city center, pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful
uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the
Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Visit Acropolis archaeological site: The
Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the
monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon.
Next visit at the place where at last the statues "found their home" : The new Acropolis museum.

Departure for a wonderful drive along the coastal road, passing by the wonderful beaches of Glyfada,
Vouliagmeni & Varkiza, to the most southern point of Attica the Cape Sounio,
where the white marble pillars from the Temple of Poseidon stand.
You will have one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world (on a clear day you can see at least seven
islands). The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.
On the way to Cape Sounio, you have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands offshore. After visiting the
Temple of Poseidon, you have time to walk on the rocky promontory of Sounio.

ancient times.

floor mosaics of the 4th century BC. Return to Thessaloniki.

Rates stated above are PER PERSON, in EURO and include:

Transportation by luxurious air conditioned buses from/to major hotel or specific
check points (* see indicative list)

Entrance fees to archaeological sites visited where stated – rates as are applicable today
Organized lunch or dinner only at the full day and multi day tours, as stated above
(drinks not included)
Cruise boat ticket and snack on board at the One Day Cruise
Accommodation in First class (4* hotel) or Tourist class in multi day excursions,
according to program
In case of taxes / VAT, fuel and/or entrance fees increase, rates will be adjusted accordingly

Payment & Cancellation policy
In order to confirm any booking, full payment in advance is required, fully refundable in case of any written
cancellation received 20 days prior the tour/excursion booked date (for multi day excursions, 20 days prior the 1st
day of operation for the booked excursion)
-For any cancellation OR change between 19 days to 15 days
prior the first day of the tour /excursion,
cancellation fees equal to 30% of the total cost of the tour /excursion applies
-For any cancellation OR change between 14 days to 7 days
prior the first day of the tour /excursion,
cancellation fees equal to 60% of the total cost of the tour /excursion applies
-For any cancellation OR change within 6 days
prior the first day of the tour /excursion
and/or non shows,
full cancellation fees applies – the total cost of the tour/excursion
A written notification of any cancellation or change is necessary to be sent to TRAVEL PLAN.
Refunds will be effected within one month after the end of Posidonia 2012 (credit card or bank charges will be deducted)
